Asus Zenbook G16 After 4 Months
Well, it's been 4 months, with several trips using only the G16, and I gotta say, I'm very satisfied with it.
Xubuntu has been amazing. Everything has just worked as expected. The iGPU is good enough for my blend of indie games (ok so it's just heavily modded Stardew Valley and FTL with the Multiverse mod).
The battery life has been quite good compared to my STRIX (obviously). Linux has been rock solid. I had to do mainline kernels to get upgraded so that my wifi would work as expected, but that's the downside of the running brand new hardware.
The thin/light aspect is great. I forget it's in my backpack half the time. The keyboard is large and great to type on. As my first OLED, it's pretty satisfying.
I think the only real downside I've run into is that the touchpad is too dang big. I keep hitting it by accident. RIP.
