Left 4 Dead 2 and SoftTH

Left 4 Dead 2 is the sequel to Left 4 Dead. It adds new weapons, new missions, and much better graphics.

Framerates with a GeForce 8800GT primary and an on-board secondary were excellent. I was able to get 40+ FPS on most maps with the resolution set to 4160x1024

Setup Instructions

Setting up SoftTH with Left 4 Dead 2 is a bit more complicated than the other steam games.

Copy files from the zip file to the "Steam\SteamApps\[username]\Left 4 Dead 2\bin". Then move the config file from that directory to the Left 4 Dead 2 directory and the SoftTH_Hook.dll there as well.. You'll need to adjust the secondary screen resolutions to force it to work in the config file. Once that is done, run the game, and select options. From there, pick the video settings, and set it to run at widescreen 16:9 mode, and pick the resolution that you'd like to run from there.
